Registration is open This year's Local Food Summit will continue a theme of building connections and relationships, and will focus on local food as a critical piece of Michigan's economic future.

Morning sessions We will highlight our "Local Food Victories" of the past year, reflect on local food victories throughout Michigan's history, and actively strategize how to engage a broader community to strive for future local food victories.  As the program is finalized it will be posted to http://localfoodsummit.org.

Great local food throughout the day Members of our team are working with the Chef and catering division at WCC and with generous donors to provide delicious local food througout the day. To help us with our goal of making this a zero waste event, please remember to bring your own tableware. We're offering a prize for the best tableware setup!  As the menu is finalized it will be posted to http://localfoodsummit.org.

Afternoon sessions will include several old as well as new and exciting formats. In addition, the afternoon will include tours of innovative local food facilities, opportunities for meeting with particular affinity groups and communities of interest, and a variety of workshops.  As the program is finalized it will be posted to http://localfoodsummit.org.

After Party After the Summit, we invite you to meet informally at the Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti.

Free Pre-Summit Event(s) We are planning some free events for Sunday, April 1 - likely afternoon tours and an evening film screening at WCC.  Please stay tuned to http://localfoodsummit.org for more details.
